Dangerous Business

So we continue to build our company and align our games. All eyes here are on Essen and the biggest boardgame convention in Europe.

There is so much to do and so little time.

Our main focus right now is preparing the prototype games, we are taking 3 to the show to meet some game production leads. We will be running some game demos and talking to people about timelines and how we take our games forward. It will also be a fact finding mission to immerse ourselves finally after all these years in the gaming world we both love and lets face it, are obsessed with.

Rules checks and game parts are my current tasks, along with honing rules through endless play-testing.

We are engaging artists to replace our AI art and finding local UK groups that will help us play-test the games. Making sure we know the rules and they are definitive is a focus as player feedback and understanding will be very important to us going forward.

We also have our eyes on 2027 and some UK forums and conventions we will want to attend, as the goal is published games throughout next year.

We are looking at digital platforms too to host the games, and will continue to improve this website and when we launch try and get the link out there!

Finally open the Champagne bottles as our company is officially created now and Jon and I have taken dual control of the steering wheels!

Think learner car with me as the instructor and in control of the emergency brakes in case Jon starts heading towards that big old oak tree that he can't take his eyes off of!
